The Prayer Furnace of East TN

The mission of The Prayer Furnace of East TN is to advance the kingdom of God and to serve the Body of Christ in the Greater Knoxville/East Tennessee region by uniting the Church through night and day worship and intercession.

During the past several years, a global move of the Holy Spirit has been orchestrated to establish regional and city-wide centers of worship, intercession and spiritual warfare. In this day, God has impressed upon His people to begin to mobilize for prayer on a much larger scale. Many in the body of Christ have anticipated a time when concerted prayer and worship will be offered to God continually in a common facility. This ministry, the Prayer Furnace of East TN, will serve the body of Christ in the greater Knoxville area as a primary facility for twenty-four hour worship and intercession, ministering to the Lord on behalf of the whole body of Christ, spiritual and governmental leaders, government and business throughout our region, nation and the world.

It is hoped that in the future the Prayer Furnace will be vitally linked with other regional, state, national and international prayer centers as they are developed and established around the world.

Within the Prayer Furnace, it is envisioned that key ministries will dovetail together to accomplish the vision:

1) the primary ministry involves the establishment of night and day Worship and Prayer Center, where ministry unto the Lord through musical worship and prayer seamlessly are interwoven together;

2) a training center is raised up to equip this emerging generation in fulfilling the Great Commission through worship, prayer and evangelism, and to raise up and equip kingdom musicians to help establish the bride of Christ in "bridal" intimacy, communion and worship;

3) establishing and hosting regional corporate worship and prayer meetings to bring the body of Christ together for prolonged times of corporate worship and intercession for the Knoxville area, the nation and the world;

4) networking together with local churches and ministries to bring unity to the entire body of Christ through intimacy with the Lord, intercession and musical worship.
