…Restoring the tabernacle of David with around the clock intercessory prayer and worship for our city, our region, and our world.International House of Prayer - Knoxville Ministry BaseWhat is the International House of Prayer-Knoxville?
The International House Of Prayer-Knoxville is a day and night, city-wide, multi-denominational, worship and prayer ministry. It is a place where ministry to Jesus takes first place, where we lift a unified voice of love for Him and longing for revival and spiritual awakening in our communities. We will continually cry out for God to inhabit our city and release a harvest of souls, for racial reconciliation, for signs and wonders, and for a powerful move of God among the youth.
The Prayer Room of IHOP-Knox is the heartbeat of all that goes on at the International House of Prayer-Knoxville Ministry Base. IHOP-Knox is a ministry serving the entire Knoxville area, open Monday through Friday (see schedule below) for any person or group desiring to come at any time to worship and pray individually and/or corporately. Structured in two-hour prayer meetings and one-hour devotionals, teams of musicians, singers, and intercessors lift their voices inadoration and supplication, asking God to fulfill His promise, pour out His Spirit, and give the nations of the earth to Jesus as His inheritance. Most prayer watches function with live worship teams using different formats and different themes. Devotionals and worship with the Word watches focus on ministry to the Lord; while prophetic intercession, open intercession, and apostolic intercession focus on crying out to God for corporate breakthrough, city transformation, and the revelation of Jesus Christ in the earth.

Like King David, our heart is after one thing - to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord forever (Psalm 27:4). Therefore, we desire to establish a place for God's people to encounter Him in a personal way that transforms them through intimacy. The International House Of Prayer-Knoxville seeks to restore the spirit of this first ministry to the Lord in the Body of Christ. This will result in a release of God's authority, power, beauty, and love in the earth, and will also fuel and enable all apostolic and evangelistic ministries. There will be a greater anointing for unity (as spoken of in Psalm 133), as well as a greater authority in preaching and witnessing. Who Are We?
The International House Of Prayer-Knoxville is a partnership of local churches and ministries committed to city-wide transformation through extended prayer, worship, and fasting. Our House of Prayer Staff members are considered intercessory missionaries and come from a variety of churches and denominational backgrounds. If you are interested in training to serve as a musician, vocalist, intercessor, sound technician, or prayer room attendant on our Staff, please contact us at (865) 984-8030 ex.2 or use our contact form.
