WHERE CAN I GET GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE HOUSE OF PRAYER, OR A CURRENT SCHEDULE OF PRAYER THEMES FOR EACH DAY AT THE HOUSE OF PRAYER?

In the lobby area adjacent to the prayer room, we have a display table set up where you will find all relevant House of Prayer information. This includes the current schedule for our prayer watches, our current hours of operation, and informational brochures about the IHOP-Knox. In addition, we provide copies of scriptural prayers and prayer points that may be of interest to our visitors and participants. Please feel free to check this table regularly and pick up copies of any information that may interest you.

HOW DO I PURCHASE CD SERIES BY PASTOR MIKE MCCLUNG, OR BOOKS THAT ARE ON DISPLAY?

Please pick out the books, album series, or other items you would like to purchase and drop your payment in one of the payment boxes found near the product tables. Checks for these products can be made out to the IHOP-Knox.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR SERVING AS A MUSICIAN, SINGER, OR PRAYER WATCH LEADER IN THE HOUSE OF PRAYER?

You must attend one of the IHOP-Knox Live Training Sessions. Please periodically check the website for information about the next upcoming Live Training, or call the IHOP-Knox Office at 984-8030, ext. 2.

DO I HAVE TO DO ANYTHING IF I JUST WANT TO COME AND LISTEN TO THE PRAYERS (NOT LEAD)?

No -- Everyone is welcome at the House of Prayer. You are welcome to come and stay as long as you want - - there are not set times for how long you have to stay - - you are free to leave at any time. You are invited to express your worship in any way as long as it is not distracting to those around you. Some banners and flags are available for worship and intercession as long as they are used respectfully and appropriately. We do ask that visitors refrain from bringing their own hand instruments into the prayer room. There also may be times when the prayer leaders will open the microphone to those in the room. At these times you are invited to come to the microphone and pray, provided that your prayer is within the scheduled topic for the time period, and that you very briefly tell the prayer watch leader what you feel led to pray. Please keep your prayers short and focused so that there is time for others to pray, as well as time for the singers to respond to your prayers.

WHY IS THERE COMMUNION SET UP? WHEN DO WE TAKE COMMUNION?

Communion is set up at all times at the House of Prayer. You are welcome to take communion by yourself or with others any time you wish.

WHAT IS A PRAYER ROOM ASSISTANT?

Prayer Room Assistants (PRA's) can be found in the sanctuary, and they are responsible for the overall smooth functioning of the Prayer Room. These Assistants are there to help you and to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to ask for their assistance!

DO WE HAVE NURSERY CARE?

We currently have nursery care on Fridays from 10am to Noon, during the Marketplace Watch. There is no charge and children may be dropped off at any time during the watch. All children must be picked up by Noon.
